Leadership, Professional and Team Development Workshops

Changes in student, government, and business expectations are challenging post secondary leaders to develop:

  • new and ethical leadership behaviours and processes,
  • stronger management skills within their leadership teams,
  • more integrated decision and implementation processes across their organizations.

Leading by Design designs working sessions to develop professional and team capabilities targeted to the post secondary sector by:

  • focusing on specific topics a particular team may require - such as budgeting and program development,
  • building capacity within specific project planning and implementation initiatives, with particular emphasis on team development and project management,
  • working with members to design and implement performance plans that ‘work’ for them.

Leading by Design works with departments, faculties and program groups to design effective working sessions that help participants:

  • understand the behaviours and processes needed to meet planning and implementation objectives,
  • develop comfort with approaches and tools that will enable them to perform effectively,
  • model team behaviours required in their day to day activities,
  • develop performance and work plans that impact on their immediate work requirements.
